Monica C. Harris is the Founder and Managing Partner of Efficient Estates, Inc.  Established in 2012, Efficient Estates provides quality financial solutions and strategies that preserve generational wealth for individuals and small business owners.

Upon experiencing the loss of her grandmother and realizing that the transferal of assets was not set up properly, Monica vowed to educate herself on how to prevent further missteps. A graduate of DeVry University with a Bachelor of Administration in Finance, Monica credits much of her financial services knowledge to an early career in banking. She started at Heritage Community Bank where she served for nearly six years. Her exposure to both retail and business banking provided practical skills and a wealth of knowledge across cash management, processing, packaging and administering mortgage loans, stock investments, and managing life insurance and annuity products.

After being recognized as a stellar employee, Monica decided to build on the knowledge gathered from corporate to pursue an entrepreneurial path with Efficient Estates. During the early stages of her transition, Monica continued to advise with other firms including Western & Southern Financial Group, Black Rhino Financial Group and Gary Harris Financial Group. Through word of mouth, Monica began to establish her own base of clients that ultimately allowed her to grow her business to what it is today.

In addition to serving clients, Monica is a firm believer in giving back to the community. She is the Founder of Royal Daughters of GOD, an organization that educates high school students on how to tap into the $46 billion scholarship market.  The Scholarship Roundtable is now an anchor program. Ultimately, the goal is to produce as many debt free college graduates as possible. Monica also serves as an Ambassador Council Member and former sexual violence support services (SVSS) Medical Advocate for YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, board member of A Diamond's Heart, and a board member of Union Street Gallery.

As an heir to an estate that she never received, Monica has turned her own life experience into a passion for serving others and teaching about the importance of financial literacy. Her purpose is to build generational wealth one family at a time.
